Australia’s LithoTechnics has signed a worldwide distribution agreement for its job planning and imposition software Metrix with American printing technology company Screen. LithoTechnics has also developed a Chinese version of Metrix, which Screen will debut at the upcoming All In Print show in Shanghai.
Korean business group Doosan Corporation has announced that it has executed an agreement with MBK Partners, one of the largest private equity fund managing companies in Korea, to sell 100 per cent of its stake in the packaging business Techpack.

The Bali Post, an Indonesian language newspaper has invested in a new Goss Community SSC press in order to provide additional colour capacity, transforming the 20-page title from a 60 per cent black and white publication to a full colour title.

Filipino based multinational San Miguel Corporation has recently announced a consolidated net income of P20.9bn, nearly 200 per cent higher than the same period last year. The company’s packaging business, Yamamura Packaging also reported a substantial jump in profits from last year.
