LithoTechnics to enter Chinese market with Metrix agreement

Australia’s LithoTechnics has signed a worldwide distribution agreement for its job planning and imposition software Metrix with American printing technology company Screen. LithoTechnics has also developed a Chinese version of Metrix, which Screen will debut at the upcoming All In Print show in Shanghai.

Three Rapida 105s for Chinese book printer

Chinese commercial and book printer Beijing Jiaxindaxin Art Printing has placed an order with KBA for three Rapida 105 B1 presses. The contract for one five-colour and two four-colour versions was signed by Chen Yaqin, company chairman  and Albrecht Bolza-Schünemann, president of KBA in Beijing.

Indonesian newspaper invests in Goss colour press

The Bali Post, an Indonesian language newspaper has invested in a new Goss Community SSC press in order to provide additional colour capacity, transforming the 20-page title from a 60 per cent black and white publication to a full colour title.

Filipino based multinational San Miguel Corporation has recently announced a consolidated net income of P20.9bn, nearly 200 per cent higher than the same period last year. The company’s packaging business, Yamamura Packaging also reported a substantial jump in profits from last year.
