Print management information solutions company Tharstern International has announced the first anniversary of its operations in India. Tharstern says it marked the occasion by hosting a road-show, which was attended by over 70 printers who were keen to hear of the benefits an MIS could bring to their businesses.

Abdul Kassas, director of Tharstern India says, “The first year has been deemed a successful one, during which we have won the business of 10 customers and increased the size of our locally based team. We are still being inundated with enquiries confirming our belief that there is a requirement among the Indian print industry for a Tharstern.”

Manish Kulkarni, country head for Tharstern’s India operation says, “I believe our MIS solutions are proving to be popular because we can offer direct local support from our office in Mumbai which is equipped with training and demonstration facilities.”

Kulkarni adds, “In addition the software has been specifically tailored for the Indian print industry offering a range of modules including estimating, job production and costing, scheduling, purchase and sales order processing, inventory, delivery and Invoicing.”

He concludes, “The application suite can help Printers to improve production accuracy, strengthen communication, save valuable time and make the print workflow more streamlined and visible.”
